I had a phone call recently from local lady, who had found out about me on facebook, she wanted some photos taken of her little ones before Christmas. The photoshoot was arranged and after having fun time in the studio, we came out with some lovely photos of her two lovely girls, Cora and Thea.
Below is just a selection of the ones we took.

A little about the job of photo editing
Now some people may wonder why it takes so long, and costs so much to edit photos. The answer isn’t simple, as sometimes it can take minutes, but it can also take hours to edit a single photo. The amount of editing depends on the individual photo, but especially photographs taken at weddings where everyone, especially the bride and groom should always be looking their best. People are often caught out looking miserable, blinking, picking their noses… and editing must take place to save otherwise perfect photos.
Now I consider myself a bit of a purist, and I refuse to airbrush models to unachievable perfection, however temporary blemishes such as bruises and spots are part of life and they fade, so those are removed as standard. The aim is to convey the original image, with the original emotion and feeling from the moment, without the disruption caused by a badly placed tree, pole or otherwise distracting background.
Below are just a few photos I’ve taken from a recent wedding and one ancient photo I was asked to restore for a friend. Some of the edits took moments and some took a few hours, however I hope you agree that each one looks better in the finished image.
Happy New Year!
